Least Drivers: (tie) RECKONING and FULL THROTTLE
On the other side of the driver turnover spectrum from Damage, Inc. were Reckoning and Full Throttle.
Full Throttle swapped out Andy Fleischman for Levi Turnbaugh after First Night and then used its Turnbaugh, Ron Johnston, Jay VanAllen and Pete Milette Jr. lineup for the rest of the year.
Reckoning did Full Throttle one better: they started and ended the season with the same four drivers in their lineup, Steve Gursky Jr., Brian Anderson, “Speedy” Steve Vollbrecht and Chris McGuire. The only hiccup to Reckoning’s four driver lineup came in Third Night when Vollbrecht got banged up by a driver’s door courtesy of his own teammate, Gursky Jr., and Reckoning’s back up driver, Steve Gursky Sr. raced in the finals for them.
If you’re looking to take anything away from this, consider that the two teams with the most drivers, Seek-N-Destroy and Damage, Inc., finished last in the standings and the two teams with the fewest drivers, Reckoning and Full Throttle, finished first and tied for second respectively. Kind of interesting when you look at it like that.
